Introductions

My name is Janice Isabel Jackson.  I have been singing world wide for over 35 years and have sung classical music, musical theatre, jazz, and wild improvisation.  My specialty is new opera.  I enjoy working with living composers.  Read about my singing philosophy HERE

I also love to share my passion for all things vocal.  I have been teaching for over 30 years now and have helped students free their voices and connect with their soul. I believe the voice is a miracle of nature and we are not limited to one sound, one style, one voice.  I can help you discover your voice by freeing your body, letting go of inhibitions, balancing your muscles, and discovering your own unique musical and vocal potential.

My students have gone on to study’s at many Canadian and US universities including The New York Academy of Musical and Dramatic Arts; New York University (NYU); Berkley, Boston; University of Ottawa; Sheridan University, Ryerson, George Brown, and The Randolf Academy, in Toronto.

I teach all ages and assist adults in regaining flexibility in and enjoyment of their voice.
